Today (21 Oct 2024), Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, joined the Dailynews Talk 2024 seminar “Soft Power: Opportunities for Thailand”, in which she said that Thailand has been stuck in the middle-income trap for decades. Raising the country to become a high-income country is not easy. Factors include competitiveness, quality of education, and changes in technology. Therefore, it is essential for Thailand to make major changes to its economic strategy, one of which is the “Soft Power Strategy”.
